Combination locks utilize a combination of numbers or symbols in order to gain access to them. They do not use a key like most common locks. A sequence of numbers or symbols are entered into the locking mechanism through the use of a single rotating dial or several rotating discs. These discs or dials will act on the internal mechanism of the lock. As soon as the correct sequence is entered, the lock opens.
